Privacy policy

What we collect

When you fill in the request form we collect what you type into it: your name, your company or property name, your email address, your phone number, your property type, your city or zip code, and anything you choose to tell us about your space. We also record which page of the site the form was sent from.

When you browse the site we collect ordinary usage information: the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location at country and region level, and your browser and device type.

How we use it

Form details are used for one thing: to contact you about placing a card vending machine at your location, and to carry out that placement if we go ahead. By submitting the form you agree to be contacted by Vending Smart by phone, text or email about your request.

Usage information is used to see which pages are read and where visitors come from, to measure how fast the site loads, and to measure whether our advertising brings in requests.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure load speed. These do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites. They also record three form events — opened, submitted, and failed — along with the page and the property type selected. No name, email address, phone number or message is sent to analytics.

We use Google Tag Manager and the Google Ads tag to measure whether an ad led to a request. Google may set cookies in your browser for this purpose and handles that data under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they handle information on our behalf: Vercel hosts the site, Resend delivers the request form to our inbox, and Google provides the advertising measurement described above. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Purchases at a machine

This website does not sell anything and does not take payments. Purchases at a Vending Smart machine are cashless and are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.

How long we keep it

We keep request details for as long as we are talking with you about a placement and, if a machine is placed, for as long as that placement lasts and for the period our tax and accounting records require afterwards. If nothing comes of a request, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@vendingsmart.shop or call 816.914.9871 and we will act on it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any point, and we will.

Children

This site is written for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
